Abstract
A Theoretical estimation of Ultrasonic velocity in the binary mixtures of Methyl Benzoate with 1-Propanol, 1-Butanol, 1-Pentanol has been carried out at different temperatures from 303-318K using Nomoto’s relation, Impedance relation, Ideal mixture relation and Junjie’s method. Theoretical values are compared with the experimental values and the validity of the theories is checked by applying the chi-square test for goodness of fit and by calculating the average percentage error (APE). It is found that the ultrasonic velocities evaluated using these theories are satisfactory to different extents in different mixtures.
Keywords
Theoretical Ultrasonic velocity, Binary mixtures, Methyl benzoate.
